Adam Seanor, CFA, MBA

Adam Seanor, CFA, is a strategic finance and M&A executive with over 15 years of experience across private equity, investment banking, and corporate development. He has led and advised on transactions and capital raises exceeding $10 billion across financial services, automotive, real estate, fintech, and cleantech sectors, combining institutional capital markets expertise with hands-on operator and GP experience.

Adam is the founder of Blacktyde Capital, an investment platform focused on originating, structuring, and executing direct investments and specialty financing strategies. Through Blacktyde, he leads platform acquisitions, designs GP/LP investment vehicles, and deploys capital alongside investors in targeted opportunities, while selectively advising clients on M&A, capital raising, and strategic transactions. He has directly supported over $500 million in mid-market transactions and capital raises in this capacity.

As Managing Director at Callian Capital Group, Adam led acquisition strategy and execution across North America, sourcing and structuring complex transactions and developing relationships with institutional and family office investors. He continues to be involved in the development of an AI-driven hedge fund platform, including capital formation and investor onboarding.

Earlier in his career, Adam was a top-ranked equity research analyst, recognized as the #1 stock picker in Canada (2015) and #3 for earnings estimate accuracy (2014) by Thomson Reuters.

Adam holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a BA in Finance and Economics from the University of Western Ontario. He is a CFA charterholder, an Ironman finisher, and a long-time volunteer rep baseball coach.
